The Water Butterfly is located in the countryside, on the edge of the Weerribben-Wieden National Park, an area where tranquil open spaces still exist. The Water Butterfly is located near Giethoorn, the “Venice of the North”. The attractive places like Blokzijl, Ossenzijl, De Wetering, Kalenberg and St.Jansklooster all lie in the immediate vicinity. You can visit them by boat, car or bicycle. It is also possible to bring your own boat as there is a dock at the house. But boating is not the only thing that you can do there.
