The recreational park known as De Woudhoeve (The Forest Farm) is a rural village at the foot of the dunes of the North Holland Dune Reserve, just 4 km from the North Sea. The magnificent, heated outdoor pool and summer recreational team will help you relax because the kids are having so much fun!
In the park you will feel right at home because the facilities are extensive. For your culinary enjoyment there is a restaurant, café / bar and snack and sandwich service during high season. For sports and games you’ll find a heated outdoor pool, a playground and play area, tennis court, table football and billiards. During the high season there is a recreational team for some extra fun. And for those who would like to enjoy the surroundings without cars: bicycles and go-karts can be rented in the park.
In the vicinity you will find charming villages with cozy shopping streets and only 15 minutes away you can enjoy cycling from the beach and sea. The former fishing village of Egmond aan Zee (4 km) has a pleasant shopping area and several restaurants and terraces. The resort is adjacent to the beach. Be sure to visit the picturesque artists’ village of Bergen with its summer festivals and art fairs.
